Violence and Aggression at Work (Zero Tolerance)

1. Policy Statement

Our Practice operates a Zero Tolerance approach to violence, aggression, abuse, bullying, harassment or discrimination towards any member of staff.

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and professional environment for:

The Practice recognises its statutory duty of care under health and safety legislation to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of employees at work. This includes protection from bullying, harassment and violence.

Where appropriate, the individual will be informed that their behaviour is unacceptable and referred to this policy.

If unacceptable behaviour persists or is serious in nature, action may include:
