COVID-19 Temporary Closure

Sadly the time has come to lay down our tools for now.

Due to unprecedented circumstances with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend the provision of routine dentistry at the Dental Rooms.

The safety, health and well-being of our patients, our team and the wider community is always at the heart of everything we do. We are all being asked to stay at home to avoid the spread of the virus and protect the elderly and vulnerable – this is the right thing to do.

Many of you have showed concern for our team members. We would like to assure you that they are all well but saddened by the closure. We are so proud of how they have worked tirelessly during this testing time. We will all be looking after each other during this time and look forward to being reunited with our incredible team very soon.

What next?

If you have an appointment within the next 4 weeks, please expect a call from us to reschedule your visit to the Dental Rooms or for us to provide advice over the telephone.

What if I have a dental emergency?

We will of course be at hand to provide advice and guidance for our patients with dental emergencies.

We are asking that you contact us by emailing or call 020 8946 2426 phone if you need urgent advice or emergency treatment. We will triage by telephone consultation, give advice and can arrange to see you with appropriate safeguarding in place.

Our phone lines will be open from Monday through to Friday between 9.00am to 2.00pm. Out of these hours, please follow the instructions on the answer phone.

What if I am in the middle of implant treatment?

Your dentist knows about you and one of the team will be in touch to provide guidance and advice.

What if I am in the middle of Invisalign or orthodontic treatment?

Patients who are undergoing orthodontic treatment or are in their retention phase of orthodontic treatment, will be contacted by the team, within the next few days. This will be to organise delivery of Invisalign aligners, carry out virtual appointments and provide advice over the telephone.

 In the meantime….

Please make sure you are maintaining oral health using the following steps:

  1. Brushing your teeth twice a day
  2. Interdental Cleaning with Floss / TePe once a day
  3. Limit Snacking on sugary snacks and drinks

We are working on how best to support you at home with your oral health care and dental needs, so please watch this space and stay connected with us digitally via:

  3. When all the chaos has settled and we move into a time of reflection and rebuilding we are hoping to carry out on line consultations. In the meantime, please keep safe, stay at home and look after yourselves and your loved ones.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the practice in the very near future. Wishing you all good health.

Best wishes,

Dr Angela Auluck and Dr Dev Patel
