White Fillings
There are many techniques available to restore
a broken or decayed tooth using a tooth coloured filling
material. Here at the Dental Rooms we use both composite
and porcelain restorations. Both these filling materials
are matched to your own tooth colour. They are bonded
by a special adhesive to your tooth, adding to the retention
of the filling and sealing the tooth provided there is

Veneers
A veneer is a very fine facing made of porcelain
which is bonded onto your own natural tooth. The primary
function is to improve the appearance and they can involve
very little preparation of your own natural tooth. Veneers
can be used in cases where the teeth are chipped, discoloured

Crowns
A crown is a covering placed over the top of
your own natural tooth to restore it for both function
and aesthetics. Crowns will greatly enhance the appearance
of heavily filled, chipped, discoloured or irregularly

Bridges
A bridge is used as a permanent replacement for
one or more missing teeth. There are two main types: Adhesive
or conventional. They are both aesthetic and functional,
restoring your natural bite and preventing unwanted movement
of the adjacent teeth and over eruption of the opposing
tooth. The conventional type involves preparing the adjacent
teeth and thus can be quite destructive where as the adhesive
bridge option does not require any preparation and hence
very conservative.
